we're now in beta

Hi you vinylfreakz!
It's been a long journey to get to this state of recordium. We are in beta phase now and we can offer most functions on our community, although there are still some bugs or layout bugs. So why to use recordium? DISCOGS is already there? Yes this isthe point, we are open source and free! You can visit our github page and inspect the whole sourcecode of this site. And we don't collect or track any data! Our database is growing per several thousand records every day and it will only be a few months that we can offer the same range as discogs. But there is a little point you need to know: we only concentrate on vinyls, you won't find any other media formats on recordium!
We also have no marketplace and we don't focus on the worth of a record. We still discuss if we implement a median worth of a record, but I can't promise on that. We find that the value of a record is the more importtant than its worth! What we implemented is linking each record to the discogs release for making it easier for you to get infos that we don't supply. Also planned is a connection to ebay for watching the prices of sold items. But you have to be a little patient for that :)
so...we hope you enjoy and report bugs if you can...
